After the discovery of steam engine, 1,200 steam engines had been introduced in England even before 1800, and in the early 19th century the construction of factories with water driven engines ceased altogether and the formation of working class rose to such a height that in 30s 0f the 19th century workers unrest spread throughout England so that the British bourgeoisie began to shift their capital to India and start Industrialisation.
Marx said during its rule of scarce one hundred years, has created more massive and more colossal productive forces that have surpassed all preceding generation together.
On April 16, 1853, a train with 14 railway carriages, 3 locomotives,and 400 guests left Bombay at 15.35hrs.This was India's first rail run. In nearly hundred years, the increase in mileage was phenomenal,

From the beginning upto 1869, the construction and working of railways was left entirely to companies with some form of guarantee. From 1870 to 1880 all new lines were constructed by the direct agengy of the state and with state funds.In "The British rule in India', Marx said that the British having broken up this self-sufficient inertia of the villages, rai;ways will provide thenew want of communication and intercourse. Soon after the introduction of the railways in 1853, the rebellion began with the Mutinies by Sepoys of the Bengal Presidency Army, in 1857 the presidency consisted of present day Bangladesh, and the Indian States of West Bengal, Bihar and UP.
