The idea of Pakistan gradually converged to a focal point in 1940 by a resolution adopted in Lahore at the conference of AIML. The concept of Pakistan was developed through three schools of thought led by
1. Dr. Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal, 2. Choudhury Rahmat Ali, and 3, M.A. Jinnah. The movement was initiated by Iqbal in his presidential address in the Conference of AIML on 1930.
