Demographic of Mongolia

Mongolia's local population as of July 2007 is estimated by US census Bureau at 2,951,786 app. 3 million. people ranking at around 138th in the world in terms population.
Since the end of socialism, Mongolia has experienced a decline of total fertility rate that is steeper than  in any other country in the worl, according to recent UN estimates , in 1970-75 fertility was estimated to be 7.33 children per woman, but in 2005-2010prospects were 1.87.
