Kyrgyzstan, officially the Kyrgyz Republic, is a country in cenral Asia, formerly it was within USSR and now in CIS. It is a landlocked and mountainous country bordered by Kazakastan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tazikistan to the south west and China to the east." originally "KyrGyz"means either "forty girls" or "forty tribes",which refer to the hero Manas, who as legend has it, unified forty tribes against the Mongols. According to popular interpretations, the 40- ray sun on the flag of Kyrgyzstan symbolizes the forty tribes of Manas.
