Burkina Faso, a land locked country in the middle-west of Africa. It is surrounded by six countries, Mali to the north,Niger to the east, benin, Togo, Ghana to the south and Cote D'ivoire to the west. Its size is slightly less than that of Madhyapradesh, India, but its population is four times less than that of Madhya Pradesh.Formerly it was called the Republic of Upper Volta.
